Skyuka Hall serves unique learners in grades K-12

Skyuka Hall serves students with average to above-average intelligence with learning challenges such as language-based learning differences.

Skyuka Hall's curriculum is designed to meet the needs of children with the following profiles:

  •  Dyslexia
  •  Dyscalculia
  •  Dysgraphia
  •  Information/Auditory Processing
  • Attention Deficit

Skyuka Hall's programming is not suitable for every student; we are unable to provide support for students with conduct disorder or learning difficulties that are the result of/primary diagnosis of emotional or behavioral challenges, students with an intellectual disability or borderline intellectual disability, or serve those requiring moderate to significant support needs.

Skyuka Hall provides appropriate academic accommodations to all students but does not provide behavioral accommodations or support to students requiring a behavioral intervention plan.

"No One Understood Me Until I Came Here"

Skyuka Hall welcomes you to explore an educational experience that will affect your whole family- an experience of hope, teamwork, and challenging educational standards.  We are a K-12 independent, college preparatory school for learning different students who are not reaching their true academic potential in a traditional classroom setting.  Skyuka Hall is dedicated to providing individualized learning experiences within a community that enables students with learning differences to develop academically, physically, spiritually, and socially with confidence, courage, and conviction.

We encourage you to take the first step by submitting an inquiry online.  An admissions staff member will schedule a meeting with our admission committee and a tour of our campus.  Tours are conducted alongside admission meetings to minimize disruption to student instructional time.  Once here, you will meet with our admissions staff and school principal to discuss your student's needs and how they can benefit from an individualized educational experience.  Mission-appropriate applicants are invited on campus for individualized shadow days.  All prospective students are expected to actively participate in classroom activities to experience a day in the life of the Wolf Pack.  All Skyuka Hall students are expected to be active partners in their learning experience.  The admissions process is designed to meet your needs, questions, and concerns.  Skyuka Hall has a rolling admission process for grades which are not fully enrolled..

Growth

As Skyuka Hall has grown, we have added grades to accommodate our student body.  Skyuka Hall was officially recognized as a K-12 school beginning with the 2014-2015 school year.   The Board of Trustees, Head of School, and faculty were honored to celebrate our first graduating class in May of 2020.  Because of our exponential growth and over 700% increase in the student body since 2014, the Board of Trustees has acquired a breathtaking new property to accommodate our projected growth.

With the high interest in admission to Skyuka Hall, we encourage families to inquire earlier rather than later as most grades are at wait-list.

Skyuka Hall does not discriminate in its educational and employment policies on the basis of color, race, sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, transgender status, marital status, religion, creed, national or ethnic origin, disability, age, socioeconomic status, or military or veteran status.

Skyuka Hall recognizes that each child has an individual learning style. They work with the child's style. They do not try and make the child fit the mold.
