Summer Camps

Art Camp is for rising 1st-8th grade students.  Space is limited to 15 campers per session.

Art Camp is $150 per camper, which includes all snacks and art supplies.

Campers will choose from two different sessions, with each week containing different countries and projects!

Session 1 will take place June 13-17 from 12:00pm-3:30pm.

Session 2 will take place July 11-15 from 9:00am-12:30pm.

Theme: Around the World

Join us for a fun-filled week of art as we "travel" the world and explore art from different cultures!  From famous artists to traditional art, we'll explore the culture, music, and language as we fill up our portfolio passports with original art inspired by our journey.

Basketball Camp is a fundamental and skill camp. Space is limited to 20 campers, 15/20 spots remaining.

Basketball Camp is $300 per camper, which includes a camp t-shirt and basketball.

Camp will take place July 11-15, 2022 from 8-2pm in the Skyuka Hall gymnasium.

During this fun-filled week, campers will be exposed to the fundamentals of basketball through competitive games along with station drill work.  Throughout the week, each camper will receive individual instruction and coaching from camp staff.   Campers need to bring a sack lunch, and snacks will be served daily.   Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt and basketball.

Digital Media Camp Space is limited to 15 campers, 12/15 spots remaining.

(Media Center, podcasting, media design, marketing/brand design, editing, steaming, animation, and Skyuka News Station Development)

Digital Media Camp is $300 per camper.  

Camp will take place July 18-22 from 8-2pm in the Skyuka Hall Media Center.

During this fun-filled week, campers will be building a media presence for Skyuka Hall.  Campers will be working on the Skyuka Hall News Station, Skyuka Hall Podcast, understanding digital media, revamping our social media presence (Youtube, IG, Facebook, and MySkyuka), and finally, they will work as the new Skyuka Hall Media staff for events, yearbook, and more for  the 2022-2023 school year.

Leadership/Professional Readiness Camp is for middle and upper school students.  Space is limited to 15 campers, 13/15 spots remaining.

Leadership & Professional Readiness Camp is $300 per camper.

Camp will take place July 25-29 from 8am-2pm using space at the Tennessee Career Center and Skyuka Hall.

During this fun-filled week, campers will be exposed to community through community activities, diversity training, career exploration, leadership development, and building a presence within our local community.  Campers will collaborate and design a 2022-23 Skyuka Hall Opening Day celebration for the Lower, Middle, and Upper schools.  We will be partnering with The Tennessee Career Center, Kitchen Incubator, Eastgate Business Complex, Junior Achiever, Hope for the Inner City, Chi Tea Company, SleepyHead Coffee Company, and many more.

Track Camp is open to all primary and secondary students.  Space is limited to 20 campers, 16/20 spots remaining.

Track Camp is $250 per camper.

Track Camp will take place June 20-24 from 7-11am, location TBD

During this fun-filled week, campers will be working on speed, agility, and strength.   Campers will gain an understanding of where they perform best on the field.  Campers will also learn the proper techniques and forms for safe and optimal competing.  Track Camp will be intense, so campers will need to have a balanced diet, drink lots of water, and come ready to grow their knowledge as a track athlete.
